About the author

Donald Gingras has a first degree in Education and a MA in Family Counselling. He is married to Lorraine; they make their home in Montreal and have two children and seven grandchildren. He has been a sports administrator and businessman, high school principal, conference speaker and missionary. He writes, “In this book you will learn what I experienced in Quebec as a French Québécois baby boomer. I have been an east Montreal altar boy, a teacher, a hockey coach … and a separatist! You will also read about a cross road that transformed my life, through which I have been enabled to see and write this story from a wide-open window of hope.
